We have already received a very large number of applications for work for the 2011/2012 season, so at this stage we will not be accepting any more applications for pickers or sorters.
The season starts in mid December and runs to end of January.

Accommodation for tent sites is $30 per person per week and powered mobile home sites is $40 per person per week. Bunk rooms with 2 or 3 bunks at $100 per person per week for 2 person rooms and $70 per week for 3 person rooms are usually available.
Accommodation is available for seasonal workers from October until May. However, during the cherry season only people working at Central Cherries are permitted to stay in and use our facilities.
Applicants must have an appropriate visa and work permits for the intended duration. If you do not have a current work visa or IRD number we can only offer you a job provisionally and help you obtain the necessary paper work. Paper work must be completed at least 7 days before scheduled start date.

Cherry Sales
We have positions available for people to sell cherries in various places around New Zealand.
- Potentially high earning positions from mid December to early February
- Self-motivated, responsible people required
- Remuneration will depend on the effort put into sales, with the possibility of net earnings well in excess of $1000 per week.
- Would ideally suit a university marketing student, but not essential.
- Excellent command of English required.

Packhouse
- Quality Control Officers ( previous sorting experience essential)
- Sorters (50c/kg absolute minimum good sorter can do over 250kg in 8hr shift)

- Experimental cook - to trial recipes and experiment cooking / baking with various cherry and other fresh fruit.
